California Chicken Café in El Segundo, CA is seeking a customer-focused hospitality team member. You will take orders, handle payments, and assist guests at the drive-up window and in-restaurant service while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities include delivering warm hospitality, maintaining a welcoming environment, and complying with all food-safety laws. Requires ability to work varied hours and pass CA Food Handler requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
• 1+ years of restaurant experience preferred.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Passionate about food and hospitality.
• Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative.
• Must pass Food Handler course and test per CA state law.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality and service to turn customers into California Chicken Café fans.
• Maintain a positive, friendly work environment in line with company values.
• Take guest orders and process payments using the POS system.
• Greet and assist guests in Drive-Up and deliver food to vehicles.
• Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and humanity.
• Keep restaurant clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Communicate any issues with food quality, equipment, or environment clearly.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
