Job summary

Calif Chicken Cafe in El Segundo, CA is seeking friendly hospitality staff to greet guests, take orders, and process payments with the POS system. You’ll help deliver food to vehicles in the drive-up area while maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.

The role requires 18+ years of age, English fluency, and a passion for hospitality. Training includes a Road to Success class and CA Food Handler certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
• 1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Passionate about food and hospitality.
• Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative.
• Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and friendly work environment while adhering and applying the company's core values.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests.
• Take guest orders and handle payments using the POS system.
• Direct, greet and assist guests in the Drive-Up Service as well as deliver food to guests' vehicles.
• Greet guests with moments of humanity upon arrival.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant.
• Strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environment.
• Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
