Job summary

Highball Social Club is seeking a restaurant front desk host or hostess to greet, communicate and accommodate all our guest's needs during their visit. Our front desk host/ess needs to be friendly and personable.

Front desk host/ess will make reservations, check guests in for their reservation, answer calls and be able to answer any guests’ questions and concerns. Our front desk host/ess are the first impression and last impression of our restaurant.

Qualifications

• History as a front desk or related hospitality experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with computer or restaurant software (training provided).
• Ability to communicate in person and on the phone.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, professional manner.
• Provide excellent service by listening and addressing needs.
• Use the computer system to check in/out guests and make reservations.
• Answer phone calls and manage front desk operations.
• Know safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Relay guest information to servers, servers' assistants and bartenders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner
• Provide exceptional service by listening, communicating and responding to guest’s needs
• Use computer system to check in/ out guests and make reservations for guests
• Be able to answer phone calls, and execute all front desk operations
• Know all safety, security and emergency procedures
• Communicate guest information to food servers, server assistants and bartenders

QUALIFICATIONS

• History as a front desk or related hospitality experience
• High School Diploma/ GED
