Job summary

Highball Social Club is seeking energetic Food Runners / Server Assistants to join our opening team. You’ll deliver food, verify orders, assist servers, and help maintain a clean, organized dining room while ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

We value a friendly, proactive attitude and the ability to multitask during busy periods. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available as we build this exciting new concept.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or food-running experience is a plus but not required.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.
• Verify orders for accuracy and presentation before serving.
• Assist servers with delivering food and clearing tables.
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and properly set.
• Reset tables promptly and assist with guest requests as needed.
• Refill water and support guest needs during service.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management.
• Stock service stations and maintain clean service areas.
• Maintain overall guest satisfaction and teamwork during peak times.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with attention to presentation.
• Verify orders for accuracy, quality, and proper presentation before running food.
• Assist servers with delivering food, clearing tables, and meeting guest needs.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and properly set dining areas.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to prepare for incoming guests.
• Refill water and assist with other guest requests as needed.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management.
• Assist with stocking service stations, utensils, napkins, and other essential supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room and service areas.
• Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
