From tidying up to simply being there, you’ll be an important part of what makes Woodcrest feel like home.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll contribute to the comfort and well-being of our residents through:
- Performing general housekeeping to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
- Providing light maintenance support as needed
- Offering companionship and supplemental assistance to residents
- Referring medical or personal care concerns to the nursing team in a timely manner
- Assisting with additional tasks as requested by management to support overall operations
Qualifications:
We’re seeking someone who brings heart to their work and a strong sense of responsibility to the team. The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience with housekeeping and laundry duties (mechanical background is a plus!)
- Have a warm, friendly, and welcoming demeanor
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and conversation
- Enjoy working with seniors and building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Be a good listener who can understand and address concerns with care
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized
- Show initiative and anticipate the needs of residents and day-to-day operations
- Respect residents’ privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Be reliable, dependable, and committed to showing up for others
