Kasa Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Security Associate to help maintain safety for guests, staff and property through vigilant patrols, CCTV monitoring and prompt incident response.

You will document events, report to the Trust & Safety team, enforce policies, assist guests with concerns, and coordinate with on-site security and local agencies when needed.

The role requires lifting 25–50 pounds, night/weekend shifts, and CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifikationen

• Prior security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques in diverse situations
• Ability to act calmly in emergencies
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift 25–50 pounds and stand/walk up to 8 hours a day
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• California Guard Card license or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Hospitality industry experience and experience in fast-paced environments

Aufgaben

• Patrol hotel property, monitor guest areas, back of house, and exterior perimeters
• Respond to security alerts and incidents promptly
• Document all security events and report to Trust & Safety team and on-site leadership
• Enforce hotel security policies and assist with rule enforcement
• Assist guests with security concerns and escalate appropriately
• Participate in emergency response procedures including evacuations
• Collaborate with hotel staff, security personnel, and Trust & Safety team
