Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Boston is offering a Summer 2027 Sales & Marketing Intern position. You will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of the hotel's Sales, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams.

You will work with experienced hospitality professionals, assist in responding to inquiries, supporting meetings and events, and learning how Delphi FDC and Opera are used to drive guest experiences and hotel performance.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must reside in the market.
• College coursework in related field.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email messages; respond appropriately.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of computer programs/innovations.
• Assist in smooth operation of the office.
• Greet guests/clients/employees when necessary.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.
• Distribute daily change logs, resumes, site events, and event guarantees as requested.
• Take inquiries and distribute.
• Work with Delphi FDC and Opera.
