Job summary

Highgate Hotels L.P. is offering a Sales & Marketing Internship in San Francisco, inviting you to gain hands-on experience across Sales, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams.

You will assist with inquiries, guest communications, meeting support, and event coordination, while learning industry systems including Delphi FDC and Opera. You will work with seasoned hospitality professionals and contribute to guest experiences, hotel performance, and day-to-day operations in a dynamic hotel

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must reside in the market.
• College coursework in related field.
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests.
• Able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance per Highgate Hotel Standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Must cross-train in other hotel related areas.
• Must maintain confidentiality of information.

The Sales & Marketing Intern will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a hotel’s Sales, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams. This role is a great way to learn how these departments work together to create successful guest experiences, generate business, and support hotel performance.

You’ll work alongside experienced hospitality professionals while helping manage inquiries, communicate with guests and clients, support meetings and events, and keep important sales and event information organized. • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
• Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
