Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Denver is offering a Sales & Marketing Intern position to gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a hotel's Sales, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams. You will assist in handling inquiries, communicate with guests and clients, support meetings and events, and help keep important sales and event information organized, while learning Delphi FDC and Opera.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must reside in the market.
• College course work in related field

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email messages. Respond accordingly.
• Maintain and stay abreast of the latest computer programs/innovations (as applicable).
• Responsible for assisting in a smooth operation of the office.
• Greet guests/clients/employees when necessary.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.
• Distributing of BEO’s daily change log, resume, site events, event guarantees if requested
• Take inquires and distribute
• Work with Delphi FDC and Opera
