Job summary

Highgate Hotels is offering a Sales & Marketing Intern position in Denver to gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a hotel’s Sales, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams.

You will support inquiries, communicate with guests and clients, assist in meetings and events, and help keep sales and event information organized, working with industry systems such as Delphi FDC and Opera.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• College coursework in related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email messages. Respond accordingly.
• Maintain familiarity with the latest computer programs/innovations applicable to operations.
• Assist in smooth operation of the hotel office.
• Greet guests/clients/employees as needed.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.
• Distribute daily change logs, resumes, site events, and event guarantees as requested.
• Take inquiries and distribute information.
• Work with Delphi FDC and Opera.
