Job summary

RAM Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue for the hotels in the Alabama region. You will lead the sales team, develop strategies, and build long-lasting client relationships to meet occupancy and ADR targets.

A proven sales mindset and leadership capabilities are essential. The role requires directing daily sales activities, coordinating marketing plans, and maximizing profitability through proactive selling and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; two to three years of sales experience required
• Progressive sales experience
• Hospitality sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the sales department; plan, organize, and assign work; develop strategies and goals; train and advise team; develop business through direct sales
• Increase profitable sales by meeting and exceeding revenue goals; ensure all client communications are complete and documented
• Develop and assist with hotel marketing and sales strategy based on market strengths; implement the plan and analyze competition
• Analyze market sales trends; coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share; conduct competitor pricing and product analysis
• Prepare departmental budget; forecast occupancy; maximize revenue and REVPAR
• Sell to in-house guests and outside clients; conduct site visits and networking events; manage proposals and guest correspondence
• Support Guest Services by aligning with the hotel’s driving philosophy and handling guest needs and resolutions
• Perform other tasks to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
