Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is hiring a Sales Manager in San Diego to turn relationships into results by developing Group and Catering business for the hotel through proactive sales efforts.

You will be the liaison between clients, the Sales team, and Event Management, driving revenue growth, managing the full event lifecycle, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
• 2+ years of hotel/hospitality sales experience.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Experience with group and/or catering business.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiar with Delphi, PMS, or similar systems.
• Customer-focused with a service mindset.
• Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to attend events, including some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to internal teams and external clients with timely communication.
• Drive revenue by maintaining existing accounts and developing new opportunities.
• Manage full event lifecycle from planning to post-event follow-up.
• Collaborate with sales, event management, and operations for seamless execution.
• Forecast and maximize revenue by analyzing group blocks and F&B needs.
• Achieve individual sales goals through calls, tours, and appointments.
• Utilize Delphi and PMS to manage accounts and support objectives.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail across responsibilities.
• Participate in meetings, training, and ongoing development.
