Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a Group Sales Manager for Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in the Gaslamp Quarter. You will drive group sales, build client relationships, and oversee the full sales journey from inquiry to post-event follow-up.

The role requires experience in hospitality sales, a knack for negotiation, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Have previous sales experience, preferably within hospitality, hotel, meetings, events, or a luxury service environment.
• Are a confident negotiator, influencer, relationship builder, and closer.
• Have an innate passion for delivering 5-star service and exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Drive group sales and revenue by proactively soliciting and securing new business while cultivating existing accounts and market relationships.
• Build lasting client partnerships through personalized service, thoughtful communication, and a genuine understanding of each client’s needs.
• Own the sales journey from lead response and qualification through closing, pre-arrival planning, event execution, and post-event follow-up.
