Maya Hotels seeks a proactive Sales Coordinator in Gastonia, NC to support the sales team across group bookings, events, and catering coordination. You’ll manage client data in Copper, prepare proposals, and help ensure seamless execution of events at our properties.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2+ years in hospitality sales, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in a hotel or event venue, particularly in group sales or catering.
• Experience building client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain client information, sales activities, and bookings in Copper to support the Director of Sales.
• Input and update event details, contracts, and BEOs in TripleSeat for coordination with catering and operations.
• Draft proposals, contracts, and follow-up correspondence for group bookings and events.
• Monitor and report on sales leads, bookings, and conversions with regular updates to the Director of Sales.
