Hotel Equities is seeking a dependable Sales Coordinator to join our team in Encinitas, CA. You’ll support hotel operations, drive business relationships, and assist in achieving occupancy and revenue goals.

You’ll engage with clients, prepare proposals, and coordinate with various departments to meet client needs, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a collaborative, service-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred for management roles.
• Experience in hotel sales, hospitality, customer service, or related area preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Results-oriented with strong organization and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients and local business partners.
• Prospect for new business and follow up on leads, inquiries, and opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls, tours, presentations, and client meetings as appropriate.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, and sales reports.
• Coordinate with operations, revenue management, catering, and other departments to meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate account, activity, and opportunity information.
• Support sales strategies designed to achieve revenue and market-share objectives.
• Represent the hotel professionally at community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Respond promptly to client requests and resolve concerns in partnership with hotel leadership.
• Monitor market conditions and competitive activity and communicate relevant information to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
