Job summary

Left Lane Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor for Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah to oversee procurement, receiving and inventory control ensuring quality and budget compliance.

You will manage vendor relationships, supervise storeroom operations, and provide reports and analytics to leadership while maintaining strict inventory practices in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, receiving, warehouse, storeroom, or procurement, preferably in hospitality.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily purchasing, receiving, and storeroom operations.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries to ensure quality standards and purchase specifications are met.
• Source and procure food, beverage, and operating supplies while maintaining cost and quality standards.
• Organize, label, and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and participate in monthly inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records.
• Review invoices, packing slips, and delivery documentation for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
• Collaborate with department leaders to forecast inventory needs and support operational demands.
• Ensure storeroom and receiving areas remain clean, organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory, and cost-control reports for management.
• Train team members on receiving, inventory, and storeroom procedures.
• Support special projects and other operational needs as assigned.
