Job summary

Recess Hotel & Club Savannah is seeking a highly organized Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement, receiving, and inventory control for the property. You will ensure that all food, beverage, and operating supply purchases meet quality standards, budget requirements, and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, receiving, warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in hospitality.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to count, track, analyze, and document inventory.
• Comfortable using inventory systems and basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily purchasing, receiving, and storeroom operations.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for quality and specs.
• Source and procure food, beverage, and operating supplies while maintaining cost standards.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts and monthly audits.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records.
• Review invoices and documentation for accuracy.
• Collaborate with department leaders to forecast inventory needs.
• Train team members on procedures.
