Recess Hotel & Club Savannah seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement, receiving, and inventory control for the property. You will ensure quality, budget compliance, and timely reporting while building strong vendor relationships.

The role requires supervising receiving/storeroom operations, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in purchasing, receiving, warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately count, track, analyze, and document inventory.
• Comfortable using inventory management systems, spreadsheets, and basic computer programs.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices, vendor management, and cost-control principles.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily purchasing, receiving, and storeroom operations.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries to ensure quality standards and purchase specifications are met.
• Source and procure food, beverage, and operating supplies while maintaining cost and quality standards.
• Organize, label, and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and participate in monthly inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records.
• Review invoices, packing slips, and delivery documentation for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
• Collaborate with department leaders to forecast inventory needs and support operational demands.
• Ensure storeroom and receiving areas remain clean, organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory, and cost-control reports for management.
• Train team members on receiving, inventory, and storeroom procedures.
• Support special projects and other operational needs as assigned.
