Job summary

Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA, is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to ensure optimal stock levels, rotate stock, and document receiving and issuing processes. You will administer food, beverage and supply purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory and distribution while helping control costs and supervising storeroom staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years supervisory experience, hotel/resort preferred.
• Culinary experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to learn, use company communication devices and software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and standards.
• Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory and distribution for food, beverage and supplies.
• Assist in controlling costs and training storeroom staff.
• Maintain positive guest relations and promptly resolve guest complaints.
• Supervise loading/unloading and dispatch of delivery trucks; ensure HACCP guidelines.
• Inspect incoming product and build supplier relationships.
