Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Purchasing/Receiving Supervisor to assist the Purchasing Manager, supervise a team, and oversee receipt, storage, and inventory of food, beverages, and related items for the hotel. The role includes ensuring compliance with policies, managing cycle counts, and coordinating with departments to meet demand.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in purchasing/receiving within hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years purchasing/receiving experience.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Working knowledge of the hotel/restaurant industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all receiving and storage functions.
• Inspect incoming items against order and specifications for correctness.
• Determine appropriate PARs for commonly used items in Food and Beverage.
• Supervise transport of items to designated locations in the hotel.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas and enforce policies.
• Record and report discrepancies; ensure accurate inventory reconciliation.
