Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Public Area Attendant at Residence Inn Harrisburg. You will maintain lobby areas, restrooms, corridors, and public spaces to the hotel’s standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility for varying shifts. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, with a focus on safety, courtesy, and efficient service.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with guests and staff.
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility for long hours and variable shifts.
Moderate physical effort: lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Maintain hotel public areas to Highgate standards including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and public spaces.
Ensure cleanliness in Business Center, Fitness Center, restaurants, and other assigned areas.
Follow safety practices and use PPE as required; report maintenance issues.
Assist with room attendant duties if needed and manage lost and found items.
Maintain neat and organized public areas and respond to guest needs professionally.
