Job summary

Westin Chicago North Shore is seeking a Public Area Attendant to clean and maintain the appearance of the hotel’s public spaces and perform deep cleaning of assigned areas.

You will greet guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner, adhere to Marriott standards, and wear the proper uniform. The role includes floors, carpets, and guest restroom cleaning, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Clear communication skills are required.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning and appearance of public hotel areas.
• Clean/Buff floors and shampoo carpets in public areas.
• Assist guests with luggage at check-in/check-out in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Follow Marriott standards and safety procedures.
• Attend meetings and complete daily assignment checklists.
