Renaissance Milwaukee West is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep all public spaces clean and welcoming in a premium hotel setting. You will maintain lobby, restrooms, fitness areas, and corridors while upholding brand standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities include stocking carts, reporting hazards, assisting guests with information, and performing duties across related areas. Lifting 50 lbs and a flexible, team-oriented attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school education or 1+ years related experience.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices.
• Ability to operate a vacuum, mop, and properly use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Provides friendly guest service.
• Attention to detail with good organizational skills and efficient time management.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas of the property.
• Report emergencies and safety hazards to management.
• Assist guests by knowing facilities and services.
• Walk assigned spaces to ensure cleanliness.
• Stock cleaning cart with supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Attend department meetings and report incidents.
• Write shift reports on incidents of theft, accidents, or injuries.
