Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Westchester/Oak Brook is seeking a Public Area Attendant who will ensure all public areas are clean and maintained to hotel standards. The role includes cleaning stairwells, dusting, glass door maintenance, lobby decor upkeep, and a professional appearance at all times.

The position also requires driving the hotel shuttle to guest destinations and adhering to safety standards, with flexibility to handle other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work with Engineering Department and hotel staff.
• Promote a cordial and caring attitude toward all departments.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical systems is helpful.
• Blueprint reading is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in public areas (wipe down stairwells, dust, clean glass and décor).
• Maintain knowledge about the hotel.
• Clean lobby glass doors and décor; ensure lobby looks professional.
• Maintain neat, clean, professional appearance at all times.
• Keep work area clean after tasks.
• Drive hotel shuttle to destinations according to guest needs.
• Adhere to hotel safety standards.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Manager.
