Job summary

Proper Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented House Attendant to support the housekeeping team in maintaining spotless public spaces, corridors, and back-of-house areas. You will help keep lobbies, restrooms, and service areas clean and organized to enhance guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork with Room Attendants and Supervisors, safe chemical handling, and efficient cleaning tasks throughout shifts. A positive attitude and reliability are essential for day-to-day hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobby areas, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and stairs.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum common areas to meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Ensure public restrooms are stocked with supplies and clean throughout the day.
• Clean furniture, windows, and surfaces in public spaces for a welcoming environment.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing back-of-house areas including staff rooms and laundry rooms.
• Keep service areas clean, safe, and efficient and rotate stock in supply closets.
• Provide assistance to other housekeeping team members and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Transport dirty linens and deliver clean linens to storage areas as needed.
• Notify supervisor when supplies or equipment need replenishment.
