Job summary

The Bird Streets Club, operated by The h.wood Group, is opening this fall and seeks a Porter to help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and restaurant. A guest-first attitude, strong service commitment, and excellent communication are essential.

Open availability, including weekends and nights, is preferred. The role involves keeping areas clean and sanitary, receiving deliveries, supporting inventory, restocking equipment, and assisting the venue team as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be available at weekends and nights.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting up to 30lbs.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold, and/or wet areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area in the restaurant.
• Receive, unpack, and store all restaurant deliveries.
• Support inventory management by organizing the food storage accurately.
• Restock all kitchen and restaurant equipment in venue.
• Assist the venue team as needed.
• Other maintenance tasks as assigned.
