Job summary

Everline Resort & Spa in Olympic Valley, CA, seeks a friendly PBX Operator to provide exceptional phone and guest communications as part of People & Guest Services. You will manage calls, relay information, and coordinate with departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is personable, calm under pressure, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple channels with a welcoming demeanor. Evening/weekend/overnight availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn resort systems.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-volume environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Provide information regarding resort amenities, services, hours, directions, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries and coordinate with departments for timely resolution.
• Process wake-up calls and other guest telephone requests accurately.
• Monitor and respond to emergency, security, and operational communications.
• Maintain knowledge of resort operations, room types, amenities, outlets, events, and activities.
• Communicate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, F&B, Spa, Recreation, and other departments.
• Use resort phone system, computer systems, radio, and other communication tech.
• Document guest requests and follow-up information accurately.
• Assist with emergency procedures and follow established protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and resort operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Lake Tahoe area to assist guests.
