Job summary

Everline Resort & Spa in California is seeking a proactive call center/house operator to greet callers warmly and forward inquiries to the right location. You will participate in emergency communications and act as dispatcher for the emergency response team.

You will also assist in maintaining accurate records of calls and reservations across resort amenities. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, reliability, and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the resort’s PBX telephone system and handle all incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Schedule reservations and appointments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate information of resort amenities and activities and keep equipment in good working condition.
  • Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

You will warmly and enthusiastically greet all incoming calls and assist callers with answers to their questions and ensure their calls are forwarded to their desired location. You are also an integral member of the team that handles emergency situations by acting as the communication center and dispatcher for the emergency response team.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the resort’s PBX telephone system and handle all incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Handles customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintains an accurate record of all incoming and outgoing calls
  • Schedules reservations and appointments as needed
  • Maintains accurate and updated information of Resort amenities and activities Keeps the communication equipment in good working condition
  • Routinely conducts inspection check for quality assurance
  • Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently
  • Always maintains a courteous and professional demeanor
  • Assists other departments as needed Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual
  • Knowledge of PBX phone systems, computer applications, and resort information
  • Ability to speak fluent English
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle package and mail delivery, including sorting, shipping, and receiving of packages and mail.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure efficient package delivery.
  • Maintain an accurate log of all packages and related information, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and recipient information.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all callers and visitors, answering their inquiries, providing information and directions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with guests via text message, you will need to provide clear and concise responses to their inquiries and questions (App used Zingle)
Qualifications
  • Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it's also a lot of fun! Experience.
  • Previous experience passionately providing service to others and assisting with emergency situations. People Person.
  • The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected. Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • A qualified applicant is a people person, who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, knows how to multi-task and isn't easily flustered.
  • Previous experience as a phone operator preferred.
