Job summary

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is seeking a Manager of Hospitality Operations to oversee events, meetings, catering, and facility rentals. You will manage logistics, staffing, budgets, inventory, and compliance while supervising Hospitality staff and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in hospitality, events management, marketing, business, or related field or equivalent transferrable experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in event operations, hospitality, venue operations, or customer service; including 2+ years supervising staff.
• Experience coordinating multiple events or operational workstreams including staffing, budgets, invoicing, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of hospitality and event service standards, operational controls, and financial administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Hospitality contact for Foundation events, meetings, catering services, and facility rentals; translate requests into operational plans.
• Manage event administration through TripleSeat and related systems; maintain calendars, layouts, schedules, and communications.
• Coordinate with Foundation departments, National Park Service, clients, vendors, and contractors to support planning and execution.
• Oversee catering and hospitality services, including vendor management, contracting, permitting, documentation, and compliance with health regulations.
• Develop operational plans for events and provide oversight, quality control, and escalation support.
• Supervise staff and oversee staffing, purchasing, invoicing, and vendor management to ensure successful execution.
