Job summary

Wolf Trap Foundation For The Performing Arts is seeking a Variable Hospitality Porter to support Hospitality event operations. The role involves setting up and breaking down event spaces, assisting with catering and buffets, receiving and inventorying supplies, and maintaining kitchens and storage areas.

The position is 100% onsite with varied evenings and weekend shifts based on the event schedule. Responsibilities include transporting foods and beverages, assisting vendors and staff, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
• Professional communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, move, and break down tables, chairs, and event equipment per requirements.
• Assist with room flips, buffets, and post-event breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Chef and staff for buffet setups and supplies delivery.
• Receive, inventory, and rotate food, beverage, and catering items.
• Maintain clean, organized storage and catering areas and report issues.
