Job summary

Puttshack USA in Chicago, IL area is seeking a Hospitality Manager to oversee a multi-faceted, high-volume full-service venue with a game component. You will lead hourly team members, partner with Directors, and drive guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance and safety.

The role focuses on operational leadership, staff development, and delivering a superior guest experience in a tech-infused entertainment setting with excellent food and beverage offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as a manager in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience within a high-volume food & beverage, hospitality, and/or social entertainment venue.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to your teams.
• Demonstrates financial acumen, strong understanding of restaurant operations.
• Tech savvy and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• This position must pass a post-offer background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1-2 areas of the venue operations including service, bar, reception, game & tech and/or bar.
• Uphold company policies, processes, procedures, and standards to adhere to compliance and business objectives; inspires others to the do the same.
• Effectively operate computer systems including a POS System, Online Team Member Scheduler.
• Manages controllable expenses for their area of responsibility
• Ensure all side work is appropriately assigned and completed
• Ensure collaboration between kitchen and front of house operations
• Participate in hiring, training, and developing hourly associates
• Create, maintain and update associate schedules using weekly and daily forecasts.
• Conducts/leads pre-shift meetings to provide daily focus and provide continuous coaching and direction to hourly staff
• Drive accountability and consistency by providing constructive coaching and feedback.
• Manages Guest Service issues professionally and with a guest centric mindset
• Champion the Puttshack brand by ensuring a consistent and exceptional guest experience
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment and food safety
• Ensure proper safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe environment for guests and associates.
