Job summary

SJB Management Inc./SJB Hotels LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Fairfield Columbus New Albany. The role reports to the General Manager and oversees hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet business objectives.

You will manage front desk, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance and other departments while guiding staff and ensuring service quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel management or operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: assist in managing day-to-day hotel operations across departments.
• Staff Supervision and Training: support recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff.
• Guest Relations: handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Financial Management: help develop and monitor the hotel's budget and financial plans.
• Sales and Marketing Support: collaborate to promote the hotel and hit occupancy targets.
