Job Summary

The Hospitality Manager/Catering Manager, reporting directly to the Culinary Director, assists with day-to-day operations in a senior living community. Excellent communication, multi-tasking, team leadership, and customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, train, manage, and develop staff
  • Manage budgets and inventory
  • Supervise alcoholic beverage service
  • Assist with catering events
  • Establish beverage programs and seasonal specials
  • Purchase beverages
  • Manage culinary programs with Morrison Living’s culinary and marketing teams
  • Maintain positive relationships with staff, clients, and vendors
  • Work with vendors to optimize costs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management experience and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, planning, and decision-making
  • Inventory and budget tracking abilities
  • Leadership desire and quick grasp of responsibilities
  • College degree and hospitality management experience preferred
  • Certification in service training, alcohol service, food safety, and first aid
