Job Summary

The Hospitality Manager/Catering Manager, reporting directly to the Culinary Director, assists with day-to-day operations in a senior living community. The role requires excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, and a focus on delivering superior food, beverage quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Schedules, trains, manages, and develops staff
2. Manages budget and inventory
3. Trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service
4. Assists with catering events
5. Establishes beverage program and seasonal specials
6. Purchases alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
7. Manages culinary program in collaboration with Morrison Living culinary and marketing teams
8. Maintains positive relationships with staff, clients, and vendors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing others; strong communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, self-motivated, good planning skills, timely decision-making
• Ability to manage inventories and budgets
• Proactive, eager to lead
• College degree and management experience in hospitality preferred
• Certifications in service training, alcohol service, food safety, and first aid preferred
