Job summary

DO & CO group in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and kitchen equipment across our hotel and catering facilities. You will document work orders, manage parts, and coordinate timelines with internal teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with HVAC experience preferred and transportation ability for site visits. Travel domestically or internationally may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is preferred; electrical and plumbing certifications are preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment maintenance, or related field; knowledge of refrigeration and electrical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, evaporator coolers, condensers, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain plumbing fixtures, electrical circuits, mechanical, and sanitation equipment.
• Oversee condition of cooking and production equipment including ovens, fryers, ranges, grills, mixers, etc.
• Document repair history and manage equipment inventory via work orders system.
• Procure materials, coordinate repair timelines, and manage costs.
• Follow safety protocols when working with high and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for specialized repair needs.
