Job summary

DO & CO in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality and culinary operations. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, ensuring uptime for flight and event services.

The role requires 1 year of related experience, willingness to travel domestically/internationally, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC knowledge preferred; electrical & plumbing certifications preferred but not required.
• 1 year of experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment maintenance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, evaporator coolers, condensers, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain plumbing fixtures, electrical circuits, mechanical, and sanitation equipment.
• Ensure optimal condition of cooking and production equipment, including ovens, fryers, ranges, and dish machines.
• Document repair history and manage equipment inventory via a work order system.
• Procure materials, coordinate repair timelines, and manage costs effectively.
• Adhere to safety protocols when working with high and low voltage equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for specialized repair needs.
