Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Person to perform preventive maintenance across the hotel, including mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. You will diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and help keep guest areas safe and functional. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade.
• Vocational School Certification preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs in hotel settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Inspect building systems for safety compliance and document findings.
• Coordinate with departments and contractors for emergencies and repairs.
• Maintain records of work orders and inspections.
