Job summary

LTD Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our hotel operation in Charlottesville, VA. You will perform scheduled maintenance in guest rooms and throughout the property to uphold high standards of cleanliness and repair.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of emergency procedures, and strong attention to detail. You will work weekends/holidays and may transport guests or supplies using the hotel shuttle van.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Ability to manage time to complete daily activities.
• Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physical strength and dexterity for maintenance/cleaning tasks.
• Meet attendance requirements with dependability.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform guest room preventive maintenance and GC/PM checks.
• Record and log work performed; store files/reports as per guidelines.
• Monitor progress and results through control systems.
• Remedy guest and associate requests and complaints promptly.
• Comply with hotel and government operating procedures.
• Inform management of any safety hazards.
• Transport guests and occasionally pick up supplies using the hotel shuttle van.
• Associates are to work as a team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Attend Continuous Improvement Meetings regularly.
• Complete maintenance work orders promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
