Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance, engineering, facilities, or general building maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine maintenance issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely use basic hand/tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Inspect guest rooms and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, associates, and management.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in a safe and operational condition.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to urgent property needs and support emergency maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
