Smoky Mountain Resorts is seeking a Hotel Engineer to maintain guest rooms, common areas, waterpark, and hotel grounds, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, daily/weekly reporting, and coordinating with supervisors on projects and inventory.

The role requires physical fitness, a background in maintenance, and a customer‑service oriented approach within a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Fun and energetic.
• Responsible and timely.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Eager to step out of your comfort zone.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be on company insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily upkeep of guest rooms, common areas, waterpark and pool areas and hotel grounds.
• Complete all work orders and reports as assigned.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and preventative maintenance goals.
• Communicate with supervisors on projects, inventory and guest impact items.
• Interact with team members and guests in a positive and friendly manner across shifts.
