Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Waterstone Boca Raton. This hands-on role covers grounds, public areas, and guest rooms, with preventative maintenance and timely response to requests.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in hotel maintenance, strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, and a proactive mindset to uphold our service-focused culture.

Qualifications

Minimum two years in hotel maintenance; three years preferred.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
Check fixtures, lighting, signs; maintain spare parts and bulbs.
Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
Fulfills work orders promptly.
Performs daily rounds; identifies and reports problems.
Other duties as assigned.
