Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team, overseeing hotel grounds, public areas and guest rooms with preventative maintenance expertise. The role requires HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge and a focus on timely response to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
