Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a maintenance technician for the Westin Pasadena. The role involves maintaining all building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry areas.

You will also service the hotel pool, maintain exterior curb appeal, and refurbish guest room furniture as needed. The position requires vocational training or trade certification, familiarity with hotel maintenance, and the ability to lift 25–50

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry experience required or preferred.
• Hotel/industrial maintenance experience is desirable.
• Must be able to read instructions, communicate progress and work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel standards.
• Check electrical systems, air conditioning controls, lighting, and assist minor repairs.
• Maintain pool, adjust chemicals and clean filters; document maintenance activities.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal; refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest areas.
• Move and arrange furniture as needed and respond courteously to guest requests.
