Soni in New York seeks an experienced HR Manager to own payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. You will partner with leadership to scale HR processes as the company grows and support frontline teams.

You are hands‑on, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable working across multi‑location operations, ensuring lawful practices under federal, NYS, and NYC rules while driving engagement and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/volume environments.
• Knowledge of multi-state labor laws and NYC requirements.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scale organizations through multi-location expansion.
• Manage payroll, timekeeping, and employee records.
• Administer benefits and enrollment changes.
• Recruit for hourly, supervisory, and administrative roles.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding.
• Handle employee relations, performance, attendance, and workplace issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal, NYS, and NYC employment laws.
• Partner with leadership on staffing and workforce planning.
• Track HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and attendance.
• Drive employee engagement and development initiatives.
