Job summary

A leading hospitality firm in New York, NY is seeking an HR Assistant to enhance HR operations and recruitment. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of HR administrative support experience, excellent communication skills, and a positive demeanor. Responsibilities include supporting payroll, managing HRIS updates, and facilitating recruitment efforts. This role offers competitive salary and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR administrative support, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong computer skills including HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• Experience collaborating with Finance teams for reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR & Payroll Manager.
• Assist with onboarding new hires and administering company benefits.
• Manage updates in HRIS systems and employee records.
• Support payroll reporting and coordination with Finance.
• Coordinate hourly recruitment efforts including job postings and applicant screening.
