Job summary

Home2 Suites is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness and amenity standards in line with brand guidelines.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, distributing stocked items, coordinating maintenance, and supporting the Executive Housekeeper with training and room allocations. You may cover the supervisor role during absences and assist with laundry tasks as workload requires.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel, housekeeping and hotel laundry operations required.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends.
• Demonstrates initiative, responsibility and adaptability.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all areas cleaned by Housekeeping.
• Distribute new items to be stocked in guest rooms.
• Notify Maintenance of repairs via work orders or verbal communication.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper with room attendant training.
• Assist in completing room assignments for Housekeepers.
• Serve as Executive Housekeeper in their absence.
• Assist in cleaning rooms/public areas and perform laundry tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
