Job summary

The Home2 Suites is looking for a Housekeeping Inspector responsible for ensuring that all cleaned guest rooms have been properly cleaned and stocked with amenities in accordance with hotel, company and brand standards.

Responsibilities include daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department, stocking new items, reporting repairs, assisting in training and scheduling, and stepping in as Executive Housekeeper when needed.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel, housekeeping and hotel laundry operations required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Distribute new items to be stocked in guest rooms.
• Notify Maintenance of repairs or maintenance needs via work orders or verbal updates.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper with room attendant training to improve performance.
• Assist in completing room assignments for Housekeepers.
• Serve as Executive Housekeeper in their absence for days off, sick or vacation.
• Assist in cleaning rooms/public areas and performing laundry functions as workload requires.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
