Crooked Hammock Brewery in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Host/Retail Associate to greet guests, manage seating, assist with retail, and promote our brand with a fun, energetic attitude. You’ll be part of a quick-pace team delivering a memorable “Enjoying the Ride” experience.

The role emphasizes hospitality, customer service, and sales, with base pay plus tips, and opportunities to grow with the team through events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Natural ability to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and fun personality with love for hospitality.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling transactions or willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Schedule flexibility to cover responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with hospitality and upbeat energy.
• Manage seating flow and communicate availability.
• Ensure guests feel welcome from arrival to departure.
• Relay guest needs and special requests to the team.
• Keep guest areas clean and tables reset for smooth service.
• Send guests off with a friendly farewell and invitation to return.
• Assist guests with retail purchases (Crooked Hammock gear or six-packs to-go).
• Keep retail areas stocked and visually appealing.
• Stay up to date on Crooked Hammock beers, events, and promotions.
• Promote loyalty programs and special offers.
• Handle transactions accurately and keep cash flow smooth.
