Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Morrisville, NC is hiring a Host to be the first and last impression, warmly greeting guests and guiding them to their tables.

You will manage reservations, communicate wait times, keep the host stand clean, and support the dining room by bussing tables as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset with positive working relationships.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing and resetting tables as needed to maintain flow and cleanliness.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
