D.L. Mack’s in Dallas, TX, seeks a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and support seamless front-of-house operations. You’ll greet guests, assist with reservations, and coordinate with servers to ensure every guest has an outstanding dining experience.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with exceptional communication, reliability, and a passion for hospitality, plus training on service standards and guest care. Physical stamina and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to complete and pass training quizzes on service standards, guest experience, and job knowledge.
• Genuine passion for creating memorable hospitality moments.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear, professional communication.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level hospitality and ensure guests feel welcome and cared for from arrival through departure.
• Build genuine relationships with guests and foster a warm, familiar atmosphere.
• Strategize seating and dining room flow using RESY reservation books and guest profiles.
• Maintain RESY notes and adjust for private bookings, events, and changes.
• Seat guests efficiently, balancing experience with table availability and service needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, table layouts, and seat numbers to support communication.
• Answer phone calls professionally and warmly.
• Coordinate seating plans with servers and managers to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special accommodations, and unique requests.
• Perform opening, mid-shift, closing, and side-work procedures.
